Pomboklap (Jorge Juan Pombo Lorenzo) is an internationally acclaimed DJ and music producer, born on June 18, 1993, in Ponferrada, Spain. Currently based between Madrid and Ibiza, he has become a leading figure in the electronic music scene, known for his refined musical taste and captivating performances.

Coming from a musical family—his father a saxophonist and flautist, and his mother a vocalist—Pomboklap’s connection to music began at a young age. He spent his childhood immersed in the environment of his parents’ music school, exploring a wide variety of instruments and developing a deep appreciation for different musical styles.

At 14, he began experimenting with vinyl records, mixing genres such as soul, disco, and funk. By 16, his sound had evolved toward electronic music, though he never abandoned the rich nuances of the genres he grew up with. This curiosity and motivation to fuse styles led him to produce his own loops, rhythms, samples, and beats, rooted in hip hop and house.

At 17, he began his professional career, becoming a resident DJ at leading clubs in the Bierzo region of León, Spain, including Lalola Lounge Club, Enzo Club, and La Vaca Club. These formative years allowed him to forge a distinctive sound and gain recognition for his unique musical identity and eclectic selection of styles.

Since 2014, Pomboklap has spent every summer in Ibiza, quickly rising to become one of the island’s most promising talents. He has performed at iconic venues such as Bora Bora, Pacha, Blue Marlin, Beach House, Sankeys, and Las Dalias. He later became a resident DJ at Cova Santa for the acclaimed Sacro by Mestiza event, as well as at the legendary Namasté party at Akasha. In 2025, Pomboklap will perform multiple times at Hï Ibiza, recognized as the best club in the world.

In 2015, after his second season in Ibiza, he moved to Madrid, where he quickly became part of the city’s vibrant nightlife. He has performed at prominent venues such as Goya Social Club, Florida Retiro, and Café Berlín, later becoming a key resident DJ at LAB the Club, LULA Club, and Istar. Over the years, he has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists and played at some of the country’s most iconic venues, including Atlético de Madrid’s football stadium, the Plaza de Toros de Madrid, IFEMA, Tierno Galván Park, and the Autocine drive-in cinema.

With a sound that connects genres, decades, and cultures, Pomboklap continues to break boundaries, delivering unforgettable sets that reflect his deep musical roots, innovative production, and unwavering passion for electronic music.

In 2020, Pomboklap established himself as a leading figure in his musical style across Spain, performing throughout the peninsula and the islands, including Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Málaga, the Canary Islands, Mallorca, and more.

Recognition from prominent industry professionals propelled him to launch his international career alongside his residencies in Madrid and Ibiza. To date, he has performed in some of the most prestigious clubs in cities across three continents, including France, Greece, the UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Armenia, Mexico, Venezuela, the UAE, Qatar, and India.

Currently, Pomboklap is the founder and promoter of his own brand, @Madridelectronicmusic, works as A&R for the record label Sacro Music, and is an international resident artist at the Sacro by Mestiza events.
